MY FIRST AND MY LAST

Some people use the term ‘soulmates’ quite loosely, but for Jillian x Ej it was nothing less than a life-long commitment. This couple’s love story spans across many chapters in their lives – from being kids who were crushing on each other (actually, it was only the groom) to the adults they have become who are now one in love.

Jillian x Ej tied the knot on an islet in Panglao Bohol. It was tremendously dreamy wedding, and not even downpour could stop it. It even added to the wistfulness of the entire event. I may not be what the couple initially had in mind, but somehow everything fit perfectly. It was seemingly God’s way of blessing their union, given their history with rain on some of their most important events.

The wedding was slow and serene, yet fast and intense. The sun was scorching the day prior, but right before Jillian boarded her bridal boat and started to walk d,imown the aisle, the sky poured. It was the perfect representation of what life is – that no matter the circumstances, as long as you have love in your heart, God in your center, and your soulmate by your side, it will all be worth it in the end.

As it was a celebration of love and marriage, it was also a celebration of family and friends. Based on the number of loved ones who flew all the way from Manila and Japan, one could feel the love and support they have for Jillian x Ej. And if that’s not love, we don’t know what is.
